Vanguard Announces Breakthrough Product

Richard Warther, Vanguard’s President and Founder, announces a new product today, and will reveal the cost-effective, on-metal Tower-Tag™ at Vanguard ID Systems’ booth #1115, at the 2012 RFID Journal Live event held April 3-5 in Orlando, FL.

“With over twenty-five years of innovation, I can’t remember being so excited about a new product. The Tower-Tag™ is a simple solution to the expensive metal tags that are out there,” Warther said. “Preliminary pricing looks to be extremely cost effective – a real breakthrough!”

Warther and his team have developed an economical method to isolate the RFID transponder off of any metal material preventing typical deflection. The Tower-Tag™ (patent pending) is manufactured using a special “stand-off” to isolate the RFID transponder from any metal allowing for incredible high-frequency, on-metal read range. It is estimated to be ¼ of the cost that competing companies are charging for a similar product.

Fully customizable to identify bar codes and human readable numbers, and to include logos and personalized artwork, the Tower-Tag™ is created with Teslin®, an environmentally safe material Vanguard currently holds three RFID related patents for.
