After inventing the first bar coded key tag in 1987, Vanguard ID Systems expanded its manufacturing line and began to make cards, mailers, post cards and finally, RFID products. By using the latest technologies to create the ultimate customer experience, Vanguard has increased its capacity for new technology by adding RFID, magnetic stripe, and QR codes to their customizable product line.

Vanguard ID Systems has reached a major milestone by manufacturing over 16 billion cards since its inception in 1987. This includes loyalty, gift, and promotional cards for businesses of all sizes, all around the world. Some of the vertical markets we service include libraries, salons, spas, fitness centers, healthcare & wellness centers, and medical spas. We have also manufactured RFID cards for access control, contactless payments, and time and attendance systems.

By using Teslin®, Vanguard has a high-quality product compared to those made by PVC card manufacturers. By using Teslin®, with its superior bonding capability,Vanguard is able to manufacture custom-made products that have an indestructible bond to inks, laminates, toners, etc. All of Vanguard’s cards are manufactured at its 55,000-square-foot facility in West Chester Pennsylvania, which includes: manufacturing, printing, and fulfillment; technology innovation center; sales and customer service pavilion; and graphic design team.
